I have been trying to source a lap top with an HDMI and a digital audio output.
Is such a specification available?

Not sure about the audio but could you get one with a DVI socket and use a DVI to HDMI convertor?
Creative do PCMCIA sound cards that might help to.
I can't think of a laptop with these outputs built in though.

dvi for the video (as mike says) then get an dvi to hdmi cable. dvi is the same as hdmi but no sound
