If you can take it apart and clean it properly then £200 is a fair price.

The price new is £306 inc vat for the same spec built from ebuyer (hewlett packard)

I'd personally be looking to buy new Shaun!
How about this for £270 delivered from Dell?

The Dell Online Store: Build Your System

Only 512mb ram and the older style dual core cpu but not a bad price (You can upgrade the memory to 1gb for £35) but it does come with a 250gb hard disk, dvd writer and a 1 year warranty (Something you definitely won't get with a secondhand PC)
You also need to reduce the warranty to "Collect & Return" to get the price I quoted.

There's other Dell deals available but thought I'd highlight one of many

EDIT: No monitor included in this deal (I can find a better evalue code if you want one with a monitor)

Thanks guys.......I think I'll give this one a bodyswerve

I have known about Michael Dell since he started cloning the IBM PC AT (advanced technology lol) intel 80286 based PC's which I used to play about with in my younger days

I looked at buying a system from Lightning101 last summer as my 11 year old seemed to be looking at PC based games.......then he went and changed his mind and is happy with his Nintendo PSP / Nintendo DS.

To my eternal shame I had to drop a potential purchase with lightning101...sorry

Nick.........Can you help me out here

Cheers

Shaun

..Nice to know WRX Rich is on my side too !!

Apologies to Lightening too
