Topend gaming PC (cost about 2800 quid I think), pitted against the top 3 consoles (Wii, PSŁ & 360). Should be worth a peek...

For that kind of money, I'd have a nice 1080p tv, with a PS3, 360 and a few games.

PS Loved the return txt, who makes the PSP, Sony or Cher ?!

Anyone notice they've not been running that comp for a few weeks. Prolly something to do with all those other phone in cons in the news last month.

 

as far as the show goes its mildly entertaining in some places, but what an absolutely dire article

surely they should have at least got the same games running on the various platforms and compared speed, resolution etc

 

so what did they say? My guess is they bigged up the co that gave them the best freebies

 

it always does light reviews, its a froffy program in general which is why its entertaining - i can see this going down the Top Gear route...

naturally the pc was going to be the best - at around Ł3k it better have been.
Naturally the S**y PS3 was mentioned, infact the new S**y PS3 by S**y got mentioned quite afew times oh and the xbox360 but they didnt mention the company who made them. The S**y PS3 got the hardware power innovation or something. The MS xbox360 got a mention about Live.

 

They 'gave' away the PC, PS3, 360 and Wii in the comp.
And Suzy did mention Microsoft when she was listing the prizes.

 

Had noticed the lack of comp over the last few weeks, thought it was due the dodgy phone in scams.

 

There really is a lot of spouting on TV by less techy minded people about the PS3 at the mo

I hoped the PC would win, end of day, gfx on a PS3/360 won't come close to what a 3k PC can do

And Suzi flashing at the camera

 

A PC for less than half that could beat the new gen consoles.

Is it repeated at all.

Have to laugh when they keep referring to the PS3 as "the most powerful games console ever made" with no mention of the Xbox360, which developers say is equally as powerful.
