Here it is, for PS2 and PSone games as supported by the EUROPEAN PS3 (with latest firmware):

No FFVII in the compatibility list

Too many games with "some issues" for my liking.....

isn't it interesting that having just been out all the shops are still offering "pre order" even though only a couple of days to go !

Sony have c*cked up big time so I'm going to hang on a bit as discounts and fixes will no doubt follow soon

I'm waiting for the new 360 now. Pick one of them up first, and then wait a year or two for the PS3s to drop and have a back catalogue to pick up out of the 2nd hand bins Helps being a cheapskate

Issues with Gran Turismo 3 & 4, noticable issues with the Singstar collection and no mention of Guitar Hero.... not looking good. I guess my PS2 will survive a bit longer alongside my 360.

I think the best options are to hang onto your PS2 until some decent games come out for the PS3 or the price comes down. or buy a 360.

check the list from the link in the first post.

Pretty inexcusable really, there shouldn't even be a list because it should certainly be able to play all PS2 games.
