There are two saved addresses which i can't get rid of when i delete my history - any ideas?

Try this:
1 - clear history normally in Internet options
2 - close all windows of Internet Explorer
3- go to the folder :
C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Local Settings\History
and delete all of its content.
4 - Then Reboot the pc

<username> will be your log on name..
if you cant see the local settings folder then in Windows Explorer you need to click on
tool > folder options >view tab > and click the show hidden folders tab.

if this doesnt work try rebooting your PC in safe mode,and then try clearing your history as normal like that. I.E 6 had some kind of bug which left a currupted history file in some instances.
It wouldnt happen to be a **** link that doesnt seem to want to be removed would it??

Yep it is **** Not a site i've visited however but i'm not the only person to use this pc
Tried your thing tricksterfiregod with no luck
