I had mine delivered yesterday AV700 TV with Freeview

and i'm on the hunt for accessories to make the most of it .....

Can someone explain the differences (if any) between

the docking pod/system eBay.co.uk: AV 700 Additional docking pod AV700 AV7100 AV700TV (item 140083513517 end time 17-Feb-07 11:18:30 GMT)

and

the travel kit eBay.co.uk: AV Travel Cable Kit Archos AV700 AV7100 AV 700 AV 7100 (item 140082821864 end time 15-Feb-07 15:13:15 GMT)

I want to be able to record from TV / SKY + / DVD

will the travel kit give the same results as the pod ? or are they COMPLETELY different ?

ARCHOS is Archos's info, very sparse

Seems to me the main difference is you don't get the IR remote control for the video source, nor the spare PSU/remote.

Yeah, the info is ver sparce...... hence I was hoping that someone might have some 'real life experience of it......

I've a 700TV with the docking pod - works very well with Sky box etc

Not tried the travel kit
