2 hours ago i selected AOL upgrade as prompted (against my better judgement) and now it will not connect to the strong broadband we have here , just dial-up and that is hit-n-miss.

Tried un-installing AOL and re-intall, no different, even when I select Broadband it wont do it.

Bloody frustrating, and ideas please?

ps: AOL helpline auto system has checked the land line and says the Broadband is strong. I have done nothing other than press upgrade.

we had this too! managed to get it running again and just never click the upgrade button! dunno how we sorted it though! just a bit of messing around

Do you mean the upgrade for Vista or is there a new version from the existing AOL 9.

For about 5 days an AOL 'pop-up' kept on about an upgrade to Version 9.

Up to when I pressed the button, all was working well, on Broadband etc.

Now I'm locked on the old dial-up and it will not respond .

Even when I have unloaded the AOL off the pc and re-loaded it is the same.

reload the actual broadband software i think thats how we did it!
