Default BT broadband password hacked?

I was surfing the net this morning when I recevied an email notifying my BT password had been changed, before I could read it however I was signed out of my account and cant get back in

I have tried resetting it online but no joy so guess Im going to have to ring up which is where the problem lies.

I cancelled my Bt broadband account 3 months ago to move to orange and although they have stopped billing me they are still providing me with the service If I ring up to change my password do you reckon they will realise I have been free loading for the past 3 months and cut me off or will they reset my password no probs

DOH! guess its off to orange then although I can still access the net via IE7. If I do ring up will they be able to charge me? as I did ring up and cancel back in october, surely its their fault that they have still been providing broadband for nowt.

They won't charge you without telling you, so don't worry, worst they'll say is your not paying for their services which isn't your fault your getting free access to the net, lol. Worth a shot anyway, you got nothing to lose!

Give em a call and demand they solve the problem

If you're getting BT broadband and not paying then that means you are not getting Orange broadband and ARE paying them. You're no better off surely.
