Some golden retro gaming from the past
If you get a spare half hour, you could do a lot worse than downloading some of the demos from this site
SpaceQuest.Net - The Ultimate Space Quest Fansite!
If anyone had a PC or Amiga at the end of the 80's / start of the 90's they'll no doubt remember the Space Quest series from Sierra. Personally I discovered them pretty late.
Anyway, I started playing through from SQ1 and I'm up to SQ5 at the moment. Great fun and a reminder that games back then were great fun.

Can;t believe how much I enjoyed them , given they were released so long ago and some had EGA graphics!!
The one to look for is "Space Quest Collection" released in '99 and allows all the earlier games (some designed for MS-DOS) to be played easily in Wndows. I consists of Space Quest 1 - 6
Otheriwse, I'd advise the use of a DOS emulator like DOSBOX.

RichB, I'm already a regular visitor to worldofspectrum.org
Best emulator for Speccy is speculator and I've got EVERYTHING I used to play on my hard disk.
I even bought a mint condition spectrum 48k, boxed with loads of games from eBay a couple of years ago to make up for my old one from 1982 which my dad sold (I still feel the pain) ;-)
