Why the foook does it install and take over everything EVEN THOUGH you quite clearly un-check the boxes that say if you want it to be your default player??

I use a different email address every time I have to give one (I have a number of domains set up so this is easy) and am yet to receive any spam addressed to the one I used for confused, a few reminders from insurance companies about their quotes but that's it.

Totally agree about RealPlayer though - totally horrible, makes Microsoft look fair and reasonable

Go to Start/Run... Type in msconfig and press enter. Go to the tab Startup and uncheck the real player box. Restart your computer and it won't run!
