Proper TDU racing
If anyone fancies a real race, driving aids turned off and group B to G cars, then look out for any rooms i have setup. I was getting sick to death of spotty oiks dissappearing into the distance when i am trying to drive the wheels of the car.
All my rooms now have Driving Aids off for all users and the Driving Guage on so that if the detour too much off road then thier game stops.
Had some really close races in the 288GTO over the weekend with some pretty decent wheelmen and the spotty oiks soon quit when they realise they did not have traction control, stabilty control or anti-lock brakes and the decent racers stayed on for a while.
It makes the game a far more pleasant experience
Live username is TheSquirrel555 and usually setup races away from the city

Dont need nothing fancy as i mainly use a C class 288GTO without any upgrades.
Really like the tack called "The Reward", nice wee tight track with a good variety of corners
Last night was ace with me and two others for about 3 hrs solid doing all the hillclimb tracks. Good fast pace but with the emphasis on "keeping it tidy and neat" and really pushing the realism bit.
Tonight i am staring at the dog cause no one is joining and when someone does they normally drop out causing the game to end and the hassle of creating another room with the right restrictions
Nearly got the hang of the drifting in the game, which is nice. Found a small traingle under a Freeway and spent a hour yesterday just practising getting the **** end out in the GTO. Narrow angle drifts are possible with the steering on low sensitivity but real **** beauties are hard to finish

I could be up for a bit of this although I'm more of a Hypersport driver rather than a no aids at all (that bloody Saleen is impossible without some aid )

I see you can set up 'car clubs' in the game?
Worth me or one of us setting one up? What's the benefit, does it make organising races easier?

Yeah in Test Drive Unlimited you can set up clubs to organise races etc. I've set one up so that ScoobyNet peeps can meet up and have inter-club races

I know they've just finished the PC version, maybe they added some improvements? I'll drop Ahmed an email (he's the producer)
