WTF! Anyone played Hitman on 360?
So, I sat down last night to play the game.
However on inserting the disc I get an error message from the 360.
'this game cannot be displayed at 50hz, please change your console settings'
I go into the console settings but as I expected, considering I am using a new HD LCD and composite cables, the system and set are already both set to 1080i PAL-60, and there is no way to change the Hz rate. And, indeed, no need to!
Any ideas?

Yep, it's an interesting "feature" in one or two games out there (they don't check the system settings properly - seems they check the settings from the low-def setup regardless of whether you are using hd or not).
Turn off the console, and flick the lead to normal low-def output. You should now be able to select 60hz from the system menu. Turn off the console, flick the lead back to hi-def, and it should all work ok.
Worked for me anyway

It worked! Thanks for the tip. Stupid that it has to happen that way, but hey at least I can play it!

Glad to hear it worked. You'll enjoy hitman. A little dated graphically compared to GOW etc, but it's got so much more playability IMO

Now just try and get the opening theme of Ave Maria out of your head!!!:-)
The hitman series has a wonderful atmosphere and the team behind that game really understand cinematics.

its a great game, played it on the pc and loved it so got it for the 360 and love it, however I can only play this when the missus is out as she doesnt like it and the missions take to long (for me anyway - only on something like the 5th mission in the hospital where I have to find someone)
