Default How much would you pay for a PS3?

If you wanted one before UK release, what would you say was a reasonable price to pay?

Weve been offered a JAP 60gb version with RR7 for £590. Would you say thats about the right asking price?

Also, seems ebay are removing listings of these until feb2007.

lol £590 for games console

you must be mad , go read the reviews of the launch games compared to 360. I've yet to see any say the PS3 is better. Most of the reviews talk about the textures not being as good and the framerate drops.

I'm not saying the 360 is better in the long run just that it's better now. I'll be waiting till 2nd/3rd gen PS3 games before I even look at it.

I wouldn't be a mug and pay what Sony want whenever they actually manage to release it over here (Last as usual) never mind over the odds.

I'm probably going to wait until January/February 2008, so the Christmas rush can die down, deals to be had and hopefully better games released!

That said, £590 is probably about right in the current climate for PS3s. Seriously, is it not worth waiting a little longer for a UK one?
