a gods of war type game for Xbox360 as a xmas pressie, anything like it available?

There's not really any fast paced hack'n'slash/platform/puzzler games for the 360 yet, like God Of War. Oblivion is an RPG so not quite the same.

The closest I can think of is Ninety-Nine Nights, but not sure I'd recommend it

Nope. Unfortunately there's nothing like god of war on the 360 yet. Wish there was though. It's the one game I actaully enjoyed playing on my ps2...
