Playing back JPEGS on a DVD player
I'm just finishing a load of scans from slides to play back on a DVD player
and I have a few queries as my DVD player wont play JPEGs and I want to make sure the job is right as its a bit of a favour for a client of mine!
1. First of all should I burn the files to a DVDR or a CDR
2. The files are split into x4 folders if I burn the Disk and include the
folders will the DVD player see all the files.
3.Will the images which are shot portrait be need to be put on a landscape format canvas, so that they will be shown the correct way round on the TV Screen.
4. The scans are 1200dpi JPEGS @33x22mm (1 - 1.2mb file) approx will this size be okay
(After I have burnt the disk I will check it on a friends DVD player first)
Thanks again if anyone can give me any info, much appreciated

I can only give advice on what i have previously done myself, using a Pioneer DV444 DVD Player:
1) Made no difference
2) The player could see the folders & files and was used as a "Disc Navigator" to show the files.
3) The images showed as they were on the disk, they could be rotated, but this was a pain and slow, so it would be best to put in the correct format before burning.
4) Image size made no difference.
Hope that helps...

Image size should make no difference other than the larger they are, the longer they will take to load / display (especially when loading from cd / dvd)
