adobe acrobat pdf format - printing problems
We've bought a new HP 2600N colour laser
When we print adobe acrobat pdf docs, the small text appears blurred and not crisp as we'd like.
Question - when you print a pdf, have the fonts been rasterized into bitmap, or are we doing something wrong eg. should we get perfectly crisp fonts ?
We got a graphic designer to design all our letterheads, fax and compliments slips and he supplied them in .pdf format. I'm wondering whether we've made a mistake and should've got them in another windows friendly format that will keep the fonts crisp when printed.

Do you have the font used by the PDF installed on the system? It might well be that Acrobat is substituting the font on print as it does not have it.
I'd also have a look in the Print dialog and see if there are options regarding what fonts, if any, will be downloaded to the printer when you print. It might be that you need to tell it to download the font being used to the printer.
