Scanning photos
I have substantial amounts of photos to scan in, probably over a thousand.
I started and spent an evening doing it and perhaps did forty but it was very labour intensive, so before I progress can anyone provide some tips of ways of doing this and perhaps better hardware than my all in one HP PSC 1210 which is one of the all in one jobs.
Don't really want to spend the next three years evening scnning photos in.

Sheetfed flatbed scanner, they are not cheap, but operate on the same principal as a photocopier sheetfeed unit and you can pile up 20-25 photos at a time and the software hold them al for you to post process at the end in one file
