Been tasked with getting one as the last one went BANG in the middle of a presentation LOL


What should I be looking for? Essentially needs to connect to a laptop either d-sub or dvi and project the computer screen onto a wall - end of.

Distance to wall is not too far and normally the room is lit with flourescents so I guess needs to be bright enough to overcome that. Will be used at least once a day.

Any recommendations and pointers gratefully received but reliability, longevity and to a certain extent looks are important, portability less so. Price is £600 - £750 +VAT max I guess, but preferably not that much if something around that fits the bill.

Don't forget noise, mounts and widescreen as well
Heard some right hoovers before..

I have no suggestions though all ours are 5 years old and weigh a ton
