8800gts

does anyone run this gpu ?? i have a 7800gtx and was considering upgrading to this !! i have a 30" NEC tft monitor and it only accepts 1280x780 res !!! is it worth putting this gpu in my pc ???

No DX10 games at the moment... massive premium on bleeding age cards... immature drivers..... Hmmmm.....

Ive got one. I know it aint gona be much better than a lot of the other cards on the market at the moment with XP and all games at the moment only using DX9. But I was building a PC and didn’t want to have to upgrade anything for the next couple of years and it was the cheapest DX10 card available.

My spec is:

C2D E6600
Gigabyte DS4
2GBGeil PC6400
8800GTS
300GB HDD

and it seems to run all my games rock solid at max everything.

the 8800 gts can also be run in sli mode!!!!!! the normal 8800gtx whoops all gphx cards by double fps in all modes but can you imagine it in sli mode!!
