Nero does it for you - just create a music disk and bingo job done in Wav format.

Sorry, I read it the wrong way round... CDEX is for ripping a CD to MP3's @ me!

It is a free download though.

Hi again, okay decided to go the nero 7 route, managed to " find " my own version on the net, d/loaded the programme, after the programme had d/loaded I used winrar to " extract files to " after this was done nothing else happens.

anyone point me in the right direction on what I should be looking to do to enable me to get the programme actually running ?? thought that when the extract files to method was choosen and completed I would then have been given the option to actually run the programme ??

anyone help me out ?? again !!!

What do you use to play music on your PC? Use Windows media player (v11 looks good) or iTunes and they also do your CDs for you.

Okay keep getting the message " files could not be added to a compilation, it may be possible that the files could be added if a dedicated plug-in is installed "

so okay the file that I have installed on my pc which I am looking to burn to disc is an mp3 file but is named as a bitorrent file within its properties, is there something I have to change to allow my nero 7 premium software to recognise the file and burn it to disc at the same time converting it into a wav file ??!!
selecting the nero 7 create audio cd option automatically chganges the mp3 file into a standard wav file when its is actually burning the disc but sure it is this bitorrent name that is causing the problem off not being recognised as a valid file ??

anyone help me out again ??

you normally get nero free with any cd/dvd burner - you just create an audio cd then add the mp3s to the list then burn - it converts them for you dead easy

problem might be you "found" your version of nero. If your using bitorrent you may have d/l a dodgy or incomplete version.
