Question Mouse gone on strike..... suggestions?

I have a Logitech cordless keyboard and wheel mouse. Mouse started to play up so I replaced batteries. Since then it won't work. Red light underneath is working and there is an uncluttered path to the receiver on my desk. The keyboard was also acting up and so I replaced batteries in that as well. I pressed some green buttons on underside of both keyboard and mouse but that hasn't made things better. Keyboard seems OK now and I am using an old plug-in mouse which is fine but I want to get the cordless one with a wheel going. Polite suggestions/ideas please? TIA David

Do you need to press a button on both the mouse and the receiver to get them to pair?

(Shot in the dark really, but thought I'd mention it).

John.

Buttons just on keyboard and mouse (not receiver) but will give that a whirl. Thanks, dl

Edited to say there is a button receiver after all. DOH

All sorted now (there was a time delay required between button pressing - easy when you know......)
