Need fro speed directx error..please help!!
Hi all, Iv just got myself need for speed carbon but i cant even install it..It says installation cannot continue because this game requires directx 0 or higher, please install directx and try again....
Iv got the latest directx from microsoft also i have the latest graffics driver for my graphics card..
Now im at my wits end, so can anybody help

Hi thanks for the reply, Unfortunatley i dont have this option (compatibility mode)on xp as the link you pointed to shows the problem being resolved on windows 2000 i think...

Issue solved!!
I was looking at the wrong autorun file in nfsc, finally sorted it when i right clicked on the EA autorun icon...
All is good now, thanks all for your help!
