every time i try to play stream a radio broadcast my pc turns itself off. Any ideas? its win xp pro

Have you checked the event viewer for errors?

Either that or you have RAM problems which when streaming is hitting the bad areas on the RAM.

Have you tried a RAM checker?

You can download RAM checking software.

The other thing could be that the CPU cooler has come loose or the fan is failing to keep the CPU cool enough and the BIOS setting on you're PC is set to switch it off at a certain temperature.
