Default ADSL Broadband recommendations

I have had telewest broadband since it was launched and cannot fault it at all, never had a problem.

The GF However can't get cable at her flat and is after broadband access, only light email and research work so doesn;t really matter about download limits.

She is only going to be there until June Next Year so ideally one without a 12 month contract. She has just had a BT line Fitted. She will be wanting wireless, so maybe worth considering one that has this included, or i can just go and get a wireless adsl router for £50.

Initially i was thinking of Virgin's 14.99 deal, but some peoples experiences have put me off. I guess you only ever read the bad things about providers on the net though.

Anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks

Avi

What ever you do DON'T go near TalkTalk.
Cr@p Customer Service!

Decided to leave them in June/July after I kept loosing service and could never get through to anyone on the phone.
Took 6 weeks and loads of phone calls(14 hours on the phone in total) to get a MAC code. Eventually transferred to new ISP towards the end of August.
Since then I am still getting billed by TalkTalk every month for a service I no longer have. I cancelled the DD after the 1st month they took a payment and have had several threatening letters since. I've had to phone them at least 10 times since leaving and they still owe me £50 for the payment they took after I left + cost of some of my phone calls to their Customer Service.

Bl00dy useless - stay well clear of them.
