Laptop on a go-slow ..... help?
My 2 year old Packard Bell Easynote F7305 laptop had developed a bit of laziness!
When its been on for a while and pretty warm, it slows right down and occasionally locks up.
The fan works and the vents are unobstructed.
The processor is Intel Pentium 4 3.06 GHz
It has over a gig of RAM so no issues there.
Anyone got any ideas? Could the processor be knackered? Is it easily replaceable or is it a major reconstruction to do so?

Although this is going to sound neither credible nor true, this machine has zero of said content. I have a 400GB Multimedia machine for all that
I'll try a defrag and see if that helps
