How to make MP3's from a music DVD?
Hi,
The title pretty much explains what I want to do. I have a music DVD which is split into one chapter per song, and I want to make a set of MP3's from those songs (for my own personal use only). Is there any software that I can use to do this easily?
Thanks in advance,
Nick

First, you need to use DVD decrypter to copy the VOB files onto your PC and remove the encryption.
Then, you need to use something like "X Video Converter" to split the VOB files into audio and video.
You might need to convert the audio to mp3 with something like "Lame".
Many ways to do this.
There's even something called DVD2SVCD which you can get to keep the audio files in mp3 format I think.

It gives you a gui window where you can just click the audio tracks to decode into .wav.
Used it for Robbie Williams insted of buying the live CD and used it fro MJ Number ones
