Default Converting DVD to DivX?

Hello

Can anyone tell me a single (easy!) piece of software to do this? All the articles I've seen talk about Tmpgen and then a whole load of other processes...

Nothing illegal, just want to back-up a DVD to divX to stop the DVD being used all the time (actually true).

Thanks.

Hello

Thanks for that, unfortunately it is the wrong way round: i.e it'll convert a DivX to DVD.

Just backup up the DVD so my 3 year old doesn't have to try and put it in the Xbox all the time.
