Retro OS Moment
Ok I'm quite bored this evening but I know that's no excuse
Found a use for some old hardware which is quite cool in a completely geek way. This takes me back

Classic, used to have it on my dads B/W laptop with a 133 pentium and 8mb memory and 600mb HDD
My how times have changed, all for the better
Did you ever get the BSOD or any crashing problems like you got with 98, ME, 2000 and XP
I get none now im on XP-64 though, so they've at least done somthing right with it!

I well remember owning an IBM 286 PC, being desperately disappointed that the minimum spec for Windows 3.1 was at least a 386 and not having the money to upgrade (probably because I was about 8 )
I've got it here running on a PII 266 MMX with 64mb RAM and it loads so quickly I couldn't even take a picture of the startup screen

Takes 3" floppys I think, has a green screen and attaches to an amstead printer. OS wise I think it uses CP/M or something and used wordstar !

Anyone remember Netware 3.x that used to come on about 50 million floppies to get it all loaded?

A hell of a lot better I don't have any decent photos of my old stuff. One of my 128K Spectrums with Interface 1, Interface 2, Multiface 1, Microdrive and Kempston Joystick connected, playing Sabre Wulf (loaded from Microdrive cartridge )
This one shows it all (a little) better
