Microsoft said you don't have any friends, so it cancelled your account

Presumably you've tried the 'Repair' option in Control Panel, Add and Remove Programs ?

I had a problem with MSN 7.5 and one day it stopped working altogether. It seemed to be a problem that Microsoft were aware of but it was in their list of things they did not have a fix for yet. Luckily my other computer still has version 7 on it, which works fine, and this one now has version 8 which has never given any trouble so far, touch wood.

When I wanted to re-download Version 7, I just went to MSN home page but it was about four months ago, when they still did a load of stuff for Windows 98. You might have to google it to find an old version now, though.

LOL, time for a serious answer

check the time on your pc, if it is out by more than an hour, from the real time, you will not be able to sign in to msn
