Question Deep Rising XBox360

I dowloaded the demo and whilst they advertise it being a demo it looks like PS2 quality. Is there anywhere that shows the true quality of the gae.

I think one of the biggest points this game is making is the fact that there are a zillion zombies on screen at the same time, no other console has been powerful enough to do this until now....and in hi-def

It was the intro that put me off.

Your correct about the number of zombies on the screen though.

Got this game at the weekend. All I can say is wow, what a game! If you're into your zombie films (Dawn of the Dead to be precise), then you won't be dissapointed.

9/10 from me.

It's a very good game - But, there are something you have to be aware of.

You have to survive 72 hours in the mall complex - this is not easy, and due to the save system it is more difficult than it might have been. The game is designed to be replayed numerous times before you are strong enough to survive. You level up through various ways - killing zombies, rescuing survivors, taking photos etc. However, there is every chance you simply will not be strong enough when you come to some of the boss battles - before you get to level 15 you are quite weak. How does the game cope with this? It gives you the choice of restarting the game, but with all of yours stats carried over - so if you die with a character at level 9, you will start a new game with that same character. This does have the effect of making the game play a little like "groundhog day" as you will be doing the same tasks over and over again. There is some freedom in what you do - there are various side "scoops" that you can decide to do or not, but you must follow the main story objectives within a time limit, otherwise its game over. However, as you get stronger, you get things done quicker.

Also, there is one save slot per profile, so you really have to think about when and where to save - If you save at the wrong point, then it's back to the beginning you go.

THere are some absolutely hilarious things in the game, and some of the weapons are just insane, and n later section of the game, the amount of zombies in areas is huge. There is some slowdown when you have loads happening on screen but it's not too bad.

Slightly flawed with the game saves, but overall a quality game.
