if so quick question before I decide whether buy one....

can you dump recorded programs off of a Sky + box onto it? (assume you could backup from Sky box to it?)

does it support any sort of Wifi, to stream programs to it?

First off I don't have one but..

Using the docking unit you can use it as a video recorder, so anything you can record off Sky+ now using a VCR will work in a similar way. There are 2 varients of the AV700, one has a TV suffix and DTV receivers in it. My understanding is this later one does not include the docking unit, you have to buy it seperately.

Not that I'm aware of.
