Not that difficult, although the advanced stuff requires programming of Actionscript. Have a start here for simple animation: http://www.webthang.co.uk/tuts/tuts_...t2/scott2a.asp
As a personal note, I can create the animations and do the scripts but I have the artistic talent of a tea-towel so I can't actually create anything good.
