Blackberry V Windows Mobile
Used to use an Imate (o2 mini) which ran windows mobile for all my email and stuff...........just done a deal with a firm that have offered me a cheap/free blackberry - as i was thinking of using the imate again are these any good and if so why are they better (or are they) than using a windows mobile phone?

For large business running Outlook/Exchange then the Blackberry as this provides you with your Outlook on the move basically.
Windows mobile is only POP3 isn't it? I can plug my windows mobile into my desktop but only because I am in IT, the rest of the 3500 non IT employees wouldn't be allowed to do this plus even if they could they wouldn't get their email sent to their windows mobile devices, it would only sync existing data in Outlook so would recieve nothing while on the move.
Windows mobile will let you get your hotmail/isp email etc but its no comparison to a Blackberry for integrating with Exchange and giving you your desktop email facility anywhere.

if you're running blackberry with BES/exchange they are good, if you are running it with BIS then it sucks. I had one for free and gave it away as I didnt find it that useful. I think really you need to be out of office over 60/70% of the time otherwise I dont see the point.
