Sky+ Remote Eye not working

Sky+ Remote Eye not working
Just upgraded to Sky+ from Sky. All working fine, except the remote eye for a TV in another room. Worked fine for regular Sky, and when we got Sky+ I bought a new remote eye that (supposedly) works on Sky+. Except it doesn't.
I've tried the advice here: http://www.tvplace.co.uk/sdsoftpf.htm, but it still doesn't work. The little red LED on the connector is lit, and the picture is coming through OK, but no response to the remote (which I've tested and is working).
Any ideas?
Cheers,
Jack

When I upgraded from normal sky digital to sky+ didn't need to get another tv link (remote eye).. All worked as before. Silly question but you're using the new sky+ remote with the tv link ?

OK - fixed this now, so posting this here in case it's useful for anyone else.
The problem is that the plug other end of the system from the eye itself (i.e. the bit that plugs into the back of the Sky+ box, was plugged into the regular RF socket (RF1), not the RF socket that provides 9v power (RF2). That's why we could get the picture on the 2nd TV but not control the box. The eye needs the power.
