I've got my stuff hosted with them, and all mine's still up and running (website and email). Been with them nearly 3 years now and have never had a problem with them myself.

I noticed that there were a load of sites on the interweb that went down yesterday / last night. Perhaps your problem was related to that?

From their support website...

Since 14:30 customers may have experienced intermittant access problems when attempting to view sites on our network or connect to other Fasthosts services. This is due to a network failure with one of our connection providers, and an additional hardware failure within our own infrastructure.

This issue was resolved at 00:40

Thanks Iain - when I had no access I could not access any of their services either!!

It is the first failure with them in over 18 months.
