got a music album in the form of par2 files, how do i use it to burn a copy?

got a music album in the form of par2 files, how do i use it to burn a copy?
very new to downloading music so haven't got a clue what to do with this album.
nero doesn't recognise the format.
downloaded something called quickpar, but all this seems to do is repair something
do i convert it to mp3 etc? if so how do i do this?

You should have rar files with it as well. Par2 files are used to rebuild damaged or missing rar files. When you run Quickpar does it say it requires any more parts?

when i run it thru quickpar it just says nothing needs repairing.
