Default Mac gurus need your help

Trying to convert .mov files to .avi to includes video in a pdf file but could do with some ideas as the best software for this thats easy and free.

Any ideas would be gratefully received.

OK remembered I have Quicktime Pro installed ! Doh !

If QTP didn't work then I'd suggest trying VLC, it might be able to do it.

I've had moments like that as well

Handbrake is good at converting movie formats too.

OK got another question. Have saved the .mov to avi and a DIVX avi to but when i embed the fiel in InDesign and produce a pdf I get either sound or video but netiher format gives me both any ideas. MPEG4 doesn't work at alll !
