N70 - Encode video to play on phone - HOW ?

N70 - Encode video to play on phone - HOW ?
I recorded the Red hot Chili peppers the other night.......
As an Experiment I used a CD (SVCD) in my VHS replacement DVD recorder..
I loaded it onto my pc and used Windows movie maker to compress it...
However, the N70 will not play it
How do i get to play it on my phone ?
Is it the case that I need to encode it in a different format ?
or I need a 'video player' software for my phone ?
