PC Boot problem?
Just had to reboot my PC (Rare even really) and if failed to do so with the following error...
To get it to boot I had to lower the clock multiplier to 12x (I think it was at 16x) and on this AMD AthlonXP 3000+ that gives me 1.6Ghz instead of the usual 2.13Ghz
I have tried swapping / removing the memory sticks (2x 512mb OCZ PC3500) and slowing the memory down to 133Mhz (Usually @ 166Mhz DDR333) all with the same results
Any ideas anyone...CPU or MoBo are my current train of though...

Ummm... looking at the error message. And how long you have been running the PC for, I would say it was a Hard Drive issue. And not components such as CPU or RAM.
The reasoning for this:
The Hard Drive has been spinning for 24x7 and only now has it been rebooted in all that time, which puts extra strain on the disk at power up.
Also in the error message I can see these 2:
Nocyl & Nozr
Which indicate cylanders and the zoning error for the HDD head.
It maybe it takes a couple of goes to get the HDD running everytime your changing things in the BIOS andthe PC reboots for the changes.

Sounds like the heatsink isn't mating with the CPU and its a temperature based error. If you switch it off for a length of time can you boot further ?

@lightning101, no m8, doesn't make any difference if PC is unplugged overnight...
jpor, I have read most of those but will take another look tnx
EDIT: Been using the PC with no errors for about 3 hours now @ 12x (1.6Ghz)
