Broadband Diallup simulator !
My Nildram broadband line ahas recently gone from abput 4/5 meg down to 288k thus quite well simulating the old dial up days, have logged a call with their '24/7' helpdesk and done the speed tests but does anyone have any idea why its gone so slow ?

ADSL Max may have been activated on your line.
Loads of people on the plusnet forums are complaining about it wrecking connection speeds. Some have even reported faster speeds upstream than downstream!??
