Printer woes
Don't have a lot of luck with printers, our old Epson was on it's third replacement when it's insurance ran out and I junked it.
Now our Canon i250 won't print magenta at all, and only prints yellow half the time. I've done numerous cleans, deep cleans, even bought cleaning cartridges, but to no avail.
Can I take the print head off and soak it in summat? If so what? Or will that just knacker it.
Is it to be yet ANOTHER new printer? Sigh

If you ever have an epson printer and it tells you it needs servicing and stops working then simply run this utility

Have you been using cartridge refills, or buying new catridges each time they run out? It's well known that reusing / refilling old cartidges can kill your print head.
