Internal SATA drive - price and make?
Hi,
After a large capacity SATA drive for work and I'm after cheapest price and any manufacturers recommendations. Work are paying so it doesn't have to be absolutely the best price as we want it fairly quickly. Conversely I hate spending extra when I don't have to even if it isn't my money!
Also, what about manufacturers from a reliability point of view? I've heard good things about the Maxtor drives so was thinking along the lines of a Maxtor Diamond Max Plus 11 of 400GB. c. £121 from Overclockers.
All input appreciated!

Had Seagate - worst drive I ever owned, and that includes having a IBM Deathstar!! Noise when seeking was like 100 people tapping their fingernails on tables!!!
My personal favourite is Western Digital, closely followed by Samsung Spinpoint. The latter is extremely quiet, even when under pressure.
