McAfee renewal problem?
Hi,
Just tried to renew the wifes subscription to McAfee and it wouldn't play ball! Put in my billing info and it just comes up with 'System error: some of your billing information is incorrect'.
Now you only have to enter your name address and credit card details and I did this several times to make sure it was correct. No joy. My interconnect connection works fine. The McAfee help is no help at all so a) have I done something very silly or b) is there a problem with the McAfee web site at the moment?
Any help appreciated!
Dave

Mcaffee.. might not be worth it.
I've never used it myself so i don't want to give it a bad rap, but I've heard it described as "a bloated piece of crap" though the same people probably swear by Mozilla Firefox (fast browser but bug-ridden).
I only use freeware: I have just switched from Avira Antivir (pretty good) to Avast which is said to be the best free anti-virus program, and better than McAffee.
I also use Kerio Personal Firewall and Adaware SE.
So far my computer has stayed free of any nasties except for "Winfixer" which I'm sure is a constant irritation to everyone - but it gets squashed everytime I run a malware/spyware check.
Oh - I'm sure everyone here must know this already but if you don't: Winfixer is a con so don't touch it.

Sorry, missed this one. Send me an email with your McAfee login name - usually your email address - and I'll sort it out for you jack_clark@mcafee.com
