Default BT Voyager205 ADSL router - not working with a couple of things

Not me, but my mate rang up last night. He's bought a 205 ADSL to extend his network to inlcude his Xbox 360.

All is working (internet/email), but from his explanation, Emule fails on the ports setup.......

Any ideas why it's not working? (He's using XP Pro sp2 with Windows Firewall)

The other issue is watching streamed movies (such as putfile etc) - when clicking on "play", the window just states "waiting"

I'm assuming it's to do with the firewall/Nat on the router, but I don't know anything about this aspect, nor am I familiar with the Voyager.

Any advice?

got the streaming of movies sorted - turns out he hadn't clicked on the connect to the internet option inside Windows Media Player.

Setup the ports for EMule, and got better performance.

However, he says that the performance isn't as good as it was with his BT Voyager 100.......

Can I put this down to the 205 isn't a brilliant router? Does this sound plausible, as I've checked his settings (they seem fine), and am now running out of ideas!!
