We run a suite of programmes via an HP Fileserver (5 users in one building) and want to change to a system where our users can access any of our programmes via the internet.

I have no understanding of what is available or the cost involved.

Can any give me som websites to have a look at?

 

It depends really on what suite of programmes you are running

One method would be Terminal Services but personally am unsure as to how secure this may be. I use VPN via the internet into the office network and then apps can be run once authenticated into our Private network.
