Question Norton Ghost 9 - OEM

Does anybody know the difference between Norton Ghost 9 OEM and the retail version of the software?

I need to back up my PC to DVD and I've seen the software on EBuyer for £13.

I want to make sure I'm buying the right package.
Thanks in advance!

One comes in a nice box with printed instructions (retail), the other is a CD with an acrobat file with the instructions for your to print yourself.

Same program though

Also depends what type of Hard Drive your using. IDE or SATA? I think Version 9 (Same as 2003) does'nt support the SATA.

I have a SATA hard drive, so it looks like I'll need v10 - thanks for the information.

Guess I'd better look around for an OEM copy of that now...

If you own either a maxtor or western digital drive you can go onto there websites to obtain free software which does the same job ?

I have a Seagate drive.

I've found the following alternative free solution - Nasbackup (http://sourceforge.net/projects/nasbackup).

Anyone know if it's any good?
