No sound from Windows Media

CODECS? Have you downloaded and installed the Mdeia Player CODECS? Is it video and MP3 that won't play? Have you selected the option to 'Automatically' Download CODECS within MP10? This can be found in 'TOOLS' then 'OPTIONS' and then in the 'PLAYER TAB'.

Tools-Options
Devices Tab
Select speakers from the list then hit "Properties"
Check its set to default directsound device or your actual hardware if you know what its called.
