Default Any MS SMS Experts? - Site wide PC Audit

I have no experience with sms at all, we need to audit all our pc's and printers etc, retrieving the following:

model
tag / serial
os
monitor size
monitor type
ram
whether it has a smartcard reader installed
host name
user that logs on to the pc

I realise that a lot of that data is sitting in SMS which we have installed (But no one has used it yet)

I'm hoping someone might be able to help me with producing a report in sms for all our pc's which i could then print out, and the blanks could be filled in by visiting each PC.

I have managed to run the standard reports that are included with sms, but none of them contain all the info i need and i'm no SQL Expert to start hacking around in the background. Basically, if i can't work it out.. i've got a lot more work at each pc jotting stuff down.

Any advice , any resurces i might look at, however small greatly appreciated

Thanks

Avi

That shouldnt be a problem to do, you need to create a query.

Are you running Hardware Inventory?

Unfortunatley I dont have access to SMS anymore, and Im not installing it at home!

You'll probably need to edit SMSDEF.MOF to collect them..

If you can view them using WMI then you can get them with SMS.. Im 99% sure you can get dell service tags.. I did similar with the HP Deskpro's as I also made it flash the bios with the hostname of the PC and the company bios pwd, etc.
