I have a pc in one room that I would like to control from another room, basically its a case of not wanting another pc under the tv, it would however be nice to dsiplay the pc screen from the other room on my HD LCD telly, so I was thinking I would get a wireless keyboard and mouse.

So the problem being that I cant think of anything for the screen other than a 15 foot vga cable under the floor, would that be possible ?

Do the wireless keyboards work over that distance and through a wall.

Any suggestions gratefully received.

In short, if you have wireless network on both machines you could set up a remote desktop session to see the other one (presume both are XP)

Just run MSTSC from the command prompt and then enter the IP address of the other.

Kiwi, the point is that I dont want another machine, I have spares but there is female involvement, nothing extra under the telly !

i.e. control the other pc via remote keyboard/mouse and view the resultant image on a remote monitor.
