Default Any other devs checked out Ruby on Rails?

I've been playing with it for a few weeks now and I'm very impressed. Incredibly rapid web development.

Not used it as a dev, read up about it but use a really cool collaboration tool by the same dev team that is written in RoR at http://www.basecamphq.com/

Gary: RoR was supposedly developed alongside basecamp

Rich: Cool huh, and TextMate is a top notch text editor too. The suite of tools you're looking for is probably instantrails, which is on sourceforge - it starts an apache/rails/mysql environment for you in a few clicks. There's also an IDE called RadRails but I've not played with it much yet

Excellent, I am developing using php/mysql on my mac and hosting in a win xp/mysql env. This seems really cool, just a bit worried about learning yet another enovironment but the videos available do seem to show it as an excellent piece of kit!
